Dr. Siti Raihanah Shafie is a senior lecturer in the Department of Nutrition, Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, Universiti Putra Malaysia. Her major research interest focus on exploring health-promoting food or compounds for obesity prevention and other nutrition related to chronic diseases. She is one of the member of the Malaysian Nutrition Guidelines Technical Working Group 2021 – 2023. She is also a member of the evaluation panel for the accreditation evaluation of the nutrition program under the joint technical committee of the Malaysian Council of Allied Health Professions. She is also active in nutrition community programs and collaboration with other organizations such as Ministry of Health and UNICEF.
