Assoc. Prof. Dr. Siti Sabariah Buhari

BSc (UPM), MSc (UPM), PhD (UKM) Centre for Dietetic Studies, Faculty of Health Sciences, Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM), Puncak Alam, Selangor.

Dr Siti Sabariah Buhari is an Associate Professor at Universiti Teknologi MARA and a community nutrition specialist with expertise in obesity intervention, maternal and child nutrition, and digital nutrition ecosystems. Her work focuses on designing culturally tailored lifestyle and nutrition interventions, particularly for adolescents and children at risk of obesity and stunting. She has led and collaborated on numerous national and international research grants.

Dr Buhari has played a significant role in national policy development as an author of several Malaysian Dietary Guidelines and as a member of key Technical Working Groups under the Ministry of Health Malaysia. She works closely with government agencies, universities, NGOs, and international partners to advance nutrition research, capacity-building, and public health advocacy. She currently serves as Deputy Director (Social Creativity & Innovation) at Research Nexus UiTM (ReNeU), where she drives research excellence and community-impact initiatives.
