Dr. Wilfred Mok Kok Hoe received his Bachelor Degree in Environmental Sciences (majoring in Environmental Biology), Master’s Degree in Health Education and Ph.D in Health Sciences (Health Education) from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia. His areas of research include obesity interventions study, health education and promotion, nutrition education, behavioural sciences, NCDs and systematic review as well as qualitative study. He is the council member of The Malaysian Association for the Study of Obesity (MASO) (2021-2023), an ordinary member of Nutrition Society of Malaysia (NSM), and Qualitative Research Association of Malaysia (QRAM). He was a research fellow of the The Developmental of a Comparable and Comprehensive Surveillance for NCDs Prevention and Control and Health Promotion Project in six ASEAN countries, a project collaboration with WHO and Thai Health. He has attended systematic review training at University of Strathclyde, Scotland and conducted a number of workshops on Systematic review for undergraduate and postgraduate students in local universities, such as UKM, UPM and UnisZa.
